Life and its Surprises!

Hello friends!

I know it has been almost the entire year without any sort of update on my website. I’m so sorry! 2015 has turned into my most surprising and exciting year yet and with so many changes in my personal life, it has been hard to do much of anything other than my full-time job and taking care of my growing family.

I’ve been writing when I can, here and there, but it hasn’t been nearly as much as I wanted to. What could take me away from writing this long? Well after my challenging year in 2014, things in 2015 picked up and took off. I’m shocked it’s the end of October and I’m still standing! I won’t bore you with too many details, but the short version of this crazy year is that I married the love of my life, an incredible man who lifts me up and encourages me to do and be anything; we built a new home, sold both our old homes and moved into the new place; and we welcomed beautiful twin girls into the world.

Our babies are on a nice schedule now at 5 weeks, so hopefully with the napping that is going on, I’ll have time to refocus and get in some quality writing time. I can’t promise anything — it has been unpredictable taking care of two little angels, but now things are finally getting into routine and calming down. Which means, I can get back to hobbies!!! I can’t wait 🙂

Thank you to all of you who have been keeping in touch and asking about Sacrificed. I can’t wait to wrap up the series and get the conclusion out to all of you. Thank you for your patience and I hope you’ve had a wonderful year!

Cheers!

  1. Hi! Congratulations on ALL of your amazing news!! It certainly sounds like you have been blessed several times over during this last year! ☺. Isn’t it incredible how life can throw some unexpected punches at us one day (or year in your case) and the next thing you know, not only have you survived the “fight”, but you’re also the winner of some priceless gifts?!?! 😀 . It just goes to show that one should never give up! It might just be ten more seconds until your miracle arrives, but if you give up, you’ll never know. I’m so grateful that you stood your ground & came out the other side with a new Husband to walk through life with, a beautiful new home to experience your journey in, and TWO precious little Angels on Earth, that will continuously bless you on a daily basis!! ❤❤. I’m sincerely happy for you!!
I’m a huge fan of yours & I can’t wait to be able to read Sacrificed at some point in the future! However, I’m also a Mom of 3 fantastic teenage boys, so I understand how your “strategic plans” can be put on hold, albeit unintentionally. 😉.
I’ll be here waiting when book three comes out! 😀. Family comes first, always! Congratulations again!!

    From one Mom to another,
    Michelle ❤

    • Thank you so much Michelle!!! 3 teenage boys?! You need a prize — my mother-in-law had 3 boys and from her stories I don’t know how she survived. They are all wonderful men and she’s so proud, but she had her hands full 🙂 Thank you so much again!
